So I got this message from a lady who works for the Herrin Library.
July 28, 2010
Hi Matt,
I'm with the Herrin City Library and I found your e-mail link to the Dagorhir Chapter. Our 2011 summer reading theme will be Midsummer's Knight and I wondered if the Dagorhir Society would be interested in appearing during the summer at our library. Would you be able to assist me with the proper local contacts?
Most appreciated,
Irena Just Youth Librarian
I emailed her back saying to keep contacting me and that while i would have to discuss it with you guys, we would most likely love to do this. I'm going to do this, and I know others will want to be involved too, so i told her yes thou how many i didn't know yet.
So i need a head count of you all that would like to do this so i can give her some rough numbers and some dates and times that would work next summer.

Seeing as I live in Herrin/Energy and have a historical character...I should probably show up if I don't have any conflicts. Just tackle me if I make anyone's eyes start to glaze over.

The lady got back to me. She said they are happy to hear we want to be involved. She mentioned that they normally do things on Tuesday and Thursday Mornings, but could arrange for a time that would better suit us. We are mainly showing off stuff to little kids outside, so i like the idea of morning.

I see no reason why we couldn't accommodate their schedule.

If it is in the morning I won't be able to make it.
